Like this girl, I had a similar experience with a “live mannequin” in a department store. It scarred me for life and now I have a serious fear of mannequins. I keep a nice distance from certain ones, that’s for sure.

Walt Disney dances the night away at the Plaza Gardens, 1958. Tonight at the Park’s closing boards will go up around the gardens and construction will begin on a new Princess Fantasy Faire. I honestly don’t know what to say except that I’m going to miss it really bad.
This is definitely an area I will miss seeing in the park. There’s a lot of history there, including a memory when my own mother got to dance there with a cast member when she was young. I will treasure the memories, but sadly I won’t look forward to the future of this change. Sadly I’m not a huge fan of face characters and dedicated meet n’ greet areas.
So long Plaza Gardens. I’m thankful there’s a bunch of archived footage on the Walt Disney Treasures DVD sets.
